ICT is Information Communication Technology – an impressive name that describes the work of an equally impressive variety of electronics, software and telecommunications companies.
Canterbury is New Zealand’s high-tech centre. Here, ICT companies contribute an incredible $1.4 billion to the economy each year and employ over 3,000 staff. That means around one in every 100 people living in Christchurch works in the ICT sector!
